Today is Tina's birthday. I had been trying to think of a way to honor her, and I decided to draw a picture to express some of the feelings floating around inside me. When Tina died six months ago, our college friend and roommate, Sally, said that I should honor her with my life and my love. That idea has stayed with me, but I haven't felt like I have done much yet to honor her. Two years ago, I bought a print at an art show in Florida - and that artist (Linda Brant) has inspired me. I am also doing Relay for Life this year in June; I know that Tina would be proud of me for that.
