Fall Fun

We have had a lot of fun this fall, getting ready for Halloween and enjoying the fall colors. It has been cold and rainy, so that has been a drag, but that's what we get here in the Midwest.

I don't have a picture, but Chase was also confirmed last weekend. (Bob got a picture, but Chase was shielding his eyes from the sun, so it did not really turn out very well - not very blog-worthy). It was a very crowded ceremony at our church, St. John's in Johnsburg, and Bishop Doran held the mass. Chase chose Angelico for his confirmation name. Saint Angelico was a humble artist from Italy, back in the day.

It is now 2 days before Halloween, and Chase has not yet decided what he wants as far as a costume. He's 14 now, so I say he's on his own. I would have helped him if he would have thought of something last week, or probably even as late as last night, but now he's definitely got to figure it out himself. Ty is going to be ex-NFL player Plaxico Burress. I got him a jersey, and he's doing the rest of it himself. I think that I will miss making costumes, but I have to say that, for this year anyway, I am relieved to be relieved of that responsibility.

And last, but definitely NOT least - GO YANKEES!!!

My most beautiful birthday cake ever - from Deerfield Bakery - ooh la la

Trying to be sexy while chomping into an apple? Who does that? Bob made me do it.
