I was going to write at Thanksgiving, but obviously I didn't get to it. I kept remembering Tina answering the phone 'Gobble Gobble', and that made me sad. I am grateful for many things, though, and we are looking forward to most of Bob's side of our family visiting this year for Christmas.
Bob had arthroscopic knee surgery 2 days before Thanksgiving, and here are some funny pictures I took at the hospital.

The nurse went through 3 razors to get through the forest of hair on Bob's leg. If he had known they were going to shave his leg, I'm not sure he would have let them plan the surgery. The nurse cracked us up when she looked at his leg (a higher-ranking nurse had sent her in to shave it, after she saw how much hair there was). Can you see all the little shavings under his leg? And although we questioned the nurse's intelligence when she wrote RN by Bob's knee, we found out it was for Robert Nixon (the surgeon), not Right Nee - whew!
The orthopedic surgeon did a few minor repairs on Bob's knee, but he thinks that there is some other reason for the major swelling. Bob is going to a rheumatologist later this month.
I need to change out my header for a Christmas one and add some Christmas tunes, but I'll have to get to that another time. We also have snow here, so I'll have to take some photos. Tomorrow is another day!
