October is over

I haven't been sure how to follow the post I did after Tina died, and although I'm still not sure, I'm going to try.

A lot has happened over the last few weeks. I think that Tina helped me out in court, because the ticket from my accident was dismissed. I say that Tina helped because one of the last things we talked about was my court date, and she said she would definitely talk to me before then. Since she didn't hold up her end of the bargain there, I think she worked a little heavenly magic to make it up to me. I deal with things in strange ways.

Now, away from myself and on to the rest of my family. Chase was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (along with 3 of his friends) for Halloween. The picture below is from the middle school dance. Ty was a gnome for Halloween (with 2 of his friends). I am having some camera issues, so the actual Halloween photos will be posted later. Chase finished football last weekend. Bob has been having some knee problems, and after another trip to the ER when his entire calf and foot swelled up after a flight home from Puerto Rico (I was worried about a blood clot), and a trip to an orthopedist and MRI - we know he doesn't have a blood clot, but his problem is still a mystery. So he got a cortisone shot and can bend his knee again.

Chase is Leonardo (L); like the pose?

Our annual pumpkin carving photo - everyone always tries to get me to fall on the way back from setting up the camera, but again this year I disappointed the crew. By the way, these pumpkins only lasted about 36 hours; as soon as I put them outside, the dogs attacked them.

Our dog Scout, right after I found the smashed pumpkins...

Election Day is here; I hope everyone voted. Enjoy November and the fall.
