Summer 2008 re-cap

We've had an interesting summer in our household. I went to Florida for a weekend in June and met my niece's son Glen, who is a cutie (and who I think looks just like my nephew Shawn did when he was a baby). Chase and Ty played a lot of baseball. Haley came up for a week and filled up on Illinois small town baseball and lots of sunflower seeds. Bob and Ty took a weekend trip to Wisconsin for a friend's birthday party, while Chase and I roughed it canoeing with friends and camping overnight on the Wisconsin River. Ty hit himself with a bat goofing around at a friend's house and ended up getting 6 stitches. We took an awesome road trip to Yellowstone National Park. I crashed my car (fortunately, no one was injured, but my car was in critical condition). I stopped working and will rejuvenate OLD SOL in the spring. Ty is now playing fall baseball, and Chase is playing football again this year.
